Help for the web app, the iOS app and the Android app
Who or What is it? is a simple picture quiz, made by one person. If you cant find your answer here, dont hesitate to write me.
The free demo contains only a small set of demo questions. One purchase (no subscription) unlocks all 10,000+ questions, every category, and longer rounds.
Open the menu, choose Unlock everything, and tap Restore purchases. The App Store or Google account that bought the unlock gets it back on any device. If it still will not unlock, write to me.
Purchases run through the store, so refunds do too. On iOS request one at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android in Google Play's order history. When the store grants it, the unlock switches itself off — that is expected, not a bug.
Everyone plays on their own phone or browser. Start a round for friends and share it — the invite link, the QR code, or the short room code all open the same room; people nearby on the same Wi‑Fi can find it by themselves. Guests do not need to have paid, they get the full version from the (paid) host!
Solo play on the web keeps working offline once the game has loaded — it keeps a copy of the questions and the pictures you have seen. The iOS and Android apps need a connection for pictures they have not shown before, and multiplayer always needs one.
Tell me from inside the game: when the answer is revealed, tap Report question under it. That flags the exact question for review — it is the fastest way to get a bad one fixed for everybody.
As close to nothing: no account, no tracking, and your play data stays on your device. More info at privacy page.
